So what we really need to do is continue to put our own (tributaries) house in order, explore the possibility of renovating the Conowingo Dam and Pond so it can once again have a beneficial effect on the Bay, and not hang our hats on unproven schemes that may or may not have any impact on the water quality of the Bay, or fret over a political agenda that calls for "unleashing the power of the private sector," at at time when that sector has plenty of opportunity and freedom to search for "the gold in them thar sediments."
